Laboratory Space at UGA Griffin Campus
The Schoeller laboratory at UGA Griffin includes two rooms of approximately 600 ft2 of lab space equipped with two full size sinks, desktop computers, microscopes, cameras, balances, and a wide assortment of standard supplies for setting up greenhouse trials and insect colony maintenance.

A new 45′ x 90′ greenhouse with a 16′ gutter height is being built for the Schoeller Lab with an ETA of Fall 2025 for finished construction.
Dedicated Greenhouse Space at UGA Dempsey Farm, Griffin GA
The Schoeller Lab’s greenhouse at Dempsey farm was newly renovated in the Fall of 2024. It has two 25′ x 25′ bays.
Dedicated Container/Vertical Farms at UGA Griffin Campus
The Schoeller Lab has three AmplifiedAg® container farms for dedicated vertical farming research. Each container is 40’ x 8’ x 8’ and are capable of producing 3600 plants simultaneously under different environmental conditions with two irrigation and lighting zones.
